1/25/17 3D Design

Today's Class- Tonight was our first meeting of the semester.  After verifying that everyone was properly on the roster, I reviewed the syllabus.  Then I had the class fill out a survey regarding their artistic interests and backgrounds. which we shared as a class.  Then I used the same form to provide my background.  We also talked a little about studio safety.

Homework- Nothing yet, but we will begin making art next week.

For next class 2/1/17- We will start our first graded project of the semester.  After a discussion of design principles, we will move on to a classic starting project for this class- making three dimensional modules that will eventually form a larger piece.  Those present tonight saw a few examples from last year.  You will need the bristol board (a pad, or at least a few regular size loose sheets if you buy it that way), pencil, scissors or a knife, and glue (white)
